The Call to Purity
• Purity is not about perfection but about direction—a continual pursuit of holiness and alignment with God’s will.
• Sexual purity is worth fighting for; it’s a lifelong journey empowered by God’s grace.
• God’s design for sex is a covenant within marriage, marked by intimacy, unity, and trust—not convenience or casual pleasure.
⸻
Grace, Not Shame
• Temptation is not sin; Jesus Himself was tempted but did not sin.
• The enemy uses shame to paralyze believers, but conviction from the Holy Spirit invites repentance and freedom.
• God’s grace redeems past failures—your past doesn’t define your future.
⸻
Practical Encouragement
• Be vocal about victories in purity to inspire others and cast a vision for a generation seeking God’s best.
• Purity involves the heart, mind, and body—what we watch, think, and dwell on.
• Set healthy boundaries and seek accountability; purity is sustained through community and God’s strength.
⸻
Truth vs. Culture
• Culture says “follow your feelings,” but God says “guard your heart.”
• The world treats sex casually, but believers are called to uphold God’s sacred standard.
• Revival isn’t just about worship or miracles—it’s also about a revival of purity.
⸻
Inclusion and Compassion
• The church must be a safe place for people struggling with temptation—including same-sex attraction—without affirming sin but offering love and grace.
• Temptation does not disqualify anyone; confession and repentance bring restoration.
⸻
Final Challenge
• Keep showing up on the battlefield of purity daily—mind, body, and soul.
• Victory College students are called to live set-apart lives and support one another through prayer and honesty.
• God doesn’t ask “what took you so long?”—He always welcomes His children with open arms.
